Societies Committee plays a key role in supporting and representing the diverse range of societies that make Lancaster's student community so vibrant. Committee members work alongside the Students' Union to help make decisions such as new society affiliations, society funding, champion student ideas, and ensure societies have the support they need to thrive.
This year, there are more opportunities than ever to get involved, with the number of committee seats increasing to reflect the breadth of our societies community and the introduction of additional representation areas. We're looking for passionate students from all types of societies to help ensure a wide range of voices are heard.
You don't need previous committee experience to stand, just enthusiasm, ideas, and a desire to make societies even better for everyone.
