Issues with accomodation both on or off campus can be really stressful. We can advise students on a number of issues that may arise, including how to navigate problems with your landlord and what to do if anything goes wrong with your property.
We can advise right at the start of a student's housing journey with regards to what to look out for when trying to find privately let accomodation. We can also do tenancy agreement checks before you sign a contract to ensure you understand all the terms and conditions, and answer any contract queries you may have.
We can also advise on any issues students may face when moving in and out of accomodation. Most commonly this is to advise students about housing deposits. For example, we can help if there is a dispute about how much of a deposit should be returned to you at the end of your tenancy.
