It’s finally here… Welcome Week is upon us!

We’re sure you’re all prepping, excited to move into your new homes. Your toilet paper has been acquired, stationery picked out, and now it’s time.  
 
You’re ready! 
 
To get the best out of your Welcome Week experience, get yourself to our LUSU Freshers Fairs. They are the perfect chance to learn more about what your students’ union provides – from societies and clubs to housing and a student nightclub!

LUSU hosts a wide range of sporting, performance and competitive events throughout the year, that wouldn’t be possible without the clubs who form them. From BUCS to showcases, they’re a part of us.  
 
On 1st October, you can find out just how many clubs and active/performance-based societies we have here at LUSU. From American Football to Korfball!

Discover: Societies, Culture & Special Interest

Societies are a huge part of what makes Lancaster so special. Which is why we’re proud to facilitate over 160 of them!   
 
We have societies for almost anything. If you like it, we’ve probably got it. Interests range from theatre and music, all the way to Pokémon and Harry Potter. And they’re a great way to make friends and meet new people.   
 
On 2nd October, you can join us and discover all things societies at LUSU. Get ready to delve into our host of clubs and meet our student media teams!

Accessible Quiet Hour: 11am-noon 
 

During Welcome Week, each of the colleges will host their very own Freshers’ events. You can go to as many or as little as you want, and generally college events are open to every student regardless of college affiliation.  Check out the list of College Freshers’ Events here.
