Results of the Election for Student Trustee
There were five candidates for the one available position of Student Trustee. Students were also able to vote for Re-Open Nominations. The candidates were:

Results of the Election for NUS Delegates 2023/24
There were fourteen candidates for the five available positions of NUS Delegate, students were also able to vote for Re-Open Nominations. The candidates were:
The National Union of Students (NUS) requires delegations to be made up of at least 50% women+ delegates. LUSU sends 6 delegates to NUS National Conference: five elected NUS Delegates and the VP Union Development. This meant that this time, 3 of the 5 elected positions were reserved for women+ candidates. The remaining 2 positions were open to all candidates.
To meet this requirement, candidates were asked to complete a diversity questionnaire and the count was undertaken in two parts.
Part 1: Women+ Candidates
The 3 reserved women+ positions were contested by the declared women+ candidates: Cerys Evans, Chaitra Krishna, Noah Katz, Tom Cross, with the addition of Re-Open Nominations.
After preferential votes were counted, Cerys Evans, Noah Katz, and Tom Cross were elected.
Part 2: Open Candidates
The 2 remaining positions were contested by the unsuccessful women+ candidates and all other candidates: Benjamin Carter, Chaitra Krishna, Connor Winter, Huseyn Guliyev, Josh Newsham, Kishore Sivakumar, Matthew Lamb, Nathan Mooney, Oliver Mulcahy, Santi Siabato, Thomas Willis, with the addition of Re-Open Nominations.
After preferential votes were counted, Josh Newsham and Nathan Mooney were elected.
