It’s TIMEEEE! 

 

 
The time has finally come. The gazebos and stalls are up, the music is playing, the firepits are lit… the LUSU Christmas Markets have arrived! 
 
This morning, Alexandra Square was turned into a winter wonderland and now, the festive cheer is here. 
 

This year, we’ve pulled out all the stops to make sure you can get into the Christmas spirit before the end of term next week. Fancy a bit of marshmallow toasting? Maybe you’ve got some little ones who want to meet the big man himself? We’ve got it all: 
 
·      Marshmallow toasting station
·      Festive stalls
·      Cosy food and drink
·      Santa’s Grotto
·      + more! 
 

Plus, this year, we’re hosting our very own festive Outdoor Cinema with help from the University big screen team. After a quick Instagram poll, we’re very excited to announce that today and tomorrow you can join us for viewings of:
 
Wednesday 3rd December, 6:30PM: Muppets Christmas Carol
Thursday 4th December, 6:30PM: Nativity 2
 
 
And we’ve got even more good news! Planning to travel to campus via car for the markets? For 3rd – 4th December only, from 10AM – 10PM, parking across campus will be FREE!
 
So, what are you waiting for? Put on your cosy Christmas jumpers, your hats and scarves, and join in on the festive fun! 
 
The Christmas Markets will be open from Wednesday 3rd December – Thursday 3rd December, 11AM – 8PM.
