Your LUSU is working in collaboration with the University to ask for your honest reflections on your experience of your first Term at Lancaster via the Lancaster University Student Induction Survey.

 

We are asking everyone who commenced study this academic year to share their opinions on their induction and first Term. We’ll then use what you share to plan next year’s Welcome. 

Last year, we shared findings with student leaders in societies and Colleges to help them plan for Welcome 2025. You can find Jess’ full report here.

The findings showed clear areas of strength but also areas in which we, and our wonderful student leaders, could make new students feel more welcome. For instance, last year you told us you’d like to see more evening events that do not involve alcohol. As a result, JCRs put in extra effort to deliver fantastic quizzes, socials, and movie nights throughout this year’s Welcome Week.
