Lancaster University’s Alexandra Square will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland next week for its annual Christmas Markets.

 

 

There will be a host of stalls and entertainments on the two days of December 3rd and 4th when the markets are running - and there’s free parking for anyone who wants to visit.

The markets will run from 11am-8pm every day and the square will be decked out in festive decorations, illuminated by fire pits, with marshmallow roasting and festive food and drink for all.

There will be live bands playing both days from 4.15-6.15pm and Santa will be in his Grotto to hear your Christmas wishes from 1-4pm on Wednesday, Dec 3rd.

Christmas would not be complete without a great Christmas movie and the Lancaster University Christmas Markets will have an outdoor cinema showing A Muppet Christmas Carol on Wednesday at 6.30pm and Nativity 2 on Thursday at 6.30pm.

It’s the perfect start to your Christmas celebrations and parking will be free from 11am-8pm on both days.
